Estella is a young and genius-minded girl who’s determined to make a name for herself in the fashion world. After the death of her mother, she meets a pair of thieves who take her in and create their own little family. In all honesty, this could be Disney’s best live-action remake, the story is beautifully portrayed, the pacing is just right, we are shown a side to Cruella that we didn’t know from them the 1996 film or the 1961 animated movie. The Madrigals are a magical family who lives hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charming place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift for every child except Mirabel. I’ve seen a lot of Disney movies in the past how many years but none have made me shed tears as many times like this one and that says a lot on its own.
