One Piece 1000th Episode

Ladies and Gentlemen, we made it to One Piece’s 1000th Episode, and what a visually alluring episode it was.

We finally got the announcement from Oda and the team on the new Film RED which most likely will be centered around our favorite redhead, Shanks. Though nothing has been said regarding this, if you look at the D it appears to have three marks that look very similar to the ones Shanks has and the One Piece community is going crazy over this, Thank you, Eiichiro Oda.

Another spectacle we were blessed with is the new remake of opening 1, “We Are”, which was added with post time skip versions of The Straw Hat crew and other related parties, quite reminiscent as I started watching One Piece in 2011 and it quickly became my favorite anime within the year.

For those that don’t know, One Piece helped me in a very difficult time in my life, it cheered me up seeing this boy of rubber always bounce back up no matter what challenges were in front of him, One Piece made me realize that no matter where we come from, where we want to go, everyone just wants to live life to the fullest, we are not that different from one another besides the color of our skin. That working together we can accomplish anything but alone, we accomplish nothing. And lastly, it is because of One Piece that I decided to start this blog and share my thoughts and opinions with the world.

Back to the episode, Neko and Inuarashi are finally in Sulong mode and I have to hand it to Toei Animation, the designs look beastly as they should be, Jack seems like his already taken a beating from the mink tribe, so I highly doubt he’ll be able to handle both Nekomamushi and Inuarashi alone, Kaido better protect his man lol…

As we return into the castle, Luffy and Zoro almost make it up to the rooftop but are interrupted by King and Queen midair. Queen turns into his full Zoan dinosaur and catches Luffy and Zoro in his mouth whilst King also appears from the ceiling with a bunch of gifters with devil fruit powers which allow them to fly so they are keeping the hole made by Kaido and the samurai out of enemy reach.

The idea of showing us short recaps of each straw hat member from where they began to who they are now was a brilliant choice from the director, to reach this milestone of 1000 episodes only makes sense with us remembering where it all started and what lays ahead of this battle.

I can not wait to see Luffy defeat Kaido, whether it be this year or the next, I will be watching, Thank You, Oda, Thank you Toei, and Thank you to the One Piece community. See you in the next one.

Thank you for reading…
