    Cruella

Estella is a young and genius-minded girl who’s determined to make a name for herself in the fashion world. After the death of her mother, she meets a pair of thieves who take her in and create their own little family. In all honesty, this could be Disney’s best live-action remake, the story is beautifully portrayed, the pacing is just right, we are shown a side to Cruella that we didn’t know from them the 1996 film or the 1961 animated movie. It’s quite amazing how we judge a person for who they are now without understanding their upbringing and the trials they had to face. From the 1996 film…

    Hawkeye

Clint Barton wants to spend a warm Christmas with his family when past secrets threaten to collapse under his feet when his Ronin suit is discovered at an underground auction.   With this series, we are introduced to a few new marvel characters such as Echo played by Alaqua Cox, our favorite new Black Widow and younger sister to Natasha, Yelena Belova, and lastly the young apprentice to the most normal superhero with a bow and arrow Hailee Steinfeld.   What I loved about this series in particular is the direction in which the director decided to handle Hawkeye and his relationship with people. From the moment we were introduced…

    The Matrix: Resurrections

To find out if his reality is a physical or mental construct, Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. However, the matrix has grown stronger, more adept, and more secure than the world bank. Lana Wachowski returns with another banger to one of the most iconic movies of the 2000s, “The Matrix Resurrections” which is more of a means to an end for those who were curious about the events after Neo had fought with the machines. So most of our questions had been answered by the end of the film, firstly that Neo had lost to the machines after the third…

    Final Space

Olan Rogers has created a masterpiece in the three-season we got from Final Space and at first, I was wary of the first season, even comparing it to another popular series “Rick and Morty” with its similar art style and aesthetics, however, if you give it chance it may very well be your kind of show. We are first introduced to Gary, a human who’s been imprisoned on the Galaxy One serving a five-year sentence for destroying over 92 spaceships and impersonating an Infinity Guard all to impress Officer Quinn Ergon.   We also met KVN, who’s Gary Goodspeed’s Deep Space Insanity Avoidance Companion, H.U.E, the Galaxy One’s AI who…

    Army of Thieves

Matthias Schweighofer has done an amazing job with this prequel, I found myself wanting to see more with each safe. The story of Hans Wagner after losing his family putting all his attention and soul into the makings of the four safes was beautifully illustrated and directed.   Ludwig Dieter was such an isolated person and you could strangely always see that even from the first film, Army of The Dead, but to think he just wanted someone to recognize his skills, and he sure made the impression at the safe’s competition. Whilst the former champion is anxious and using every technique in the book on unlocking a safe, Dieter on the…

    Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise is such an unexpected fun-filled adventure film, filled with some of the best acting I’ve seen from Dwayne Johnson ever and I can admit to loving the person a little more from his spectacular adaptation of Captain Frank Wolff. I had never heard of Jungle Cruise before this movie but what’s certain is that within the first ten minutes of the film I already knew Captain Frank Wolff was a con artist when it comes to making money yet, he put a lot of work into making his boat the number choice for tourist, I mean the lengths this man has gone is close to insane. He built…
