Stranger Things: Season 4 – Part 1
The Duffer brothers, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer have come back with the latest epic season of Stranger Things and it has hit the community by storm.
Stranger Things season four is undoubtedly the best yet: and I don’t mean to downplay the previous season however, comparing seasons three to four is as if comparing Hydrox to Oreo. Sure they look alike but Oreo just hits different and if you’re guessing which one is which, Oreo is the fourth season.
The production quality of this season is incredible, the cinematography beautiful, pacing and structure of each episode are more than an hour-long, which is insane but gold considering that we only have seven episodes for part one.
Part one of this season offers you a blend of both happy and sad moments with new yet instantly lovable characters that die right after you start to become fond of them.
We finally get to see the events that lead to Eleven played by Millie Bobby Brown as being recognized as one of the most powerful people if not the most powerful person in the world of Stranger Things with a super epic twist that changes everything we know about the upside down world.
Each episode has its focus and message yet none had me in tears like episode four “Dear Billy” and seven “The Massacre at Hawkins Labs”. These two episodes are so exquisitely structured and paced, if you don’t shed even a tear then I don’t know, who hurt you lol…
The best performances so far have to go to Max Mayfield played by Sadie Sink, Eleven by Millie Bobby Brown, and Jim Hopper by David Harbour.
The characters that have a growing effect on the audience are Erica Sinclair played by Priah Ferguson and Yuri by Nikola Djuricko. Yuri’s ludicrous charisma and smile make it hard to dislike him while Erica’s honesty to get to the point is so fun to watch.
I can’t wait to see the second part of season four and what it has to offer as a few things have been left in the open such as Will having feelings for his best friend Mike, Steven and Nancy, Vecna and Peter Ballard, and will the truth ever be brought to the attention of the people of Hawkins or will this forever be kept a secret?
I will save my opinion regarding the reveal of One and Peter Ballard at the end of season four as I feel there is still a lot of room for things to happen that may or may not change the way we see things.
Let me know what some of your favorite moments of part one are in the comments section below.
Thanks for reading…
