Nope
Director Jordan Peele strikes again with another phenomenal movie, challenging the very way we think and feel about the film industry, animal cruelty, and diversity in – NOPE. Jordan Peele has quickly become one of my favorite movie directors since he released “Get Out” and “US” which both took the film industry by storm, first in 2017 and 2019. And in this masterpiece, nothing less but greatness should be expected from this young director. We follow the events of siblings running a horse ranch after the sudden passing of their father Otis Haywood played by Keith David. One night whilst looking up at the skies of…

Five assassins from across the entire globe, aboard a fast-moving bullet train only to discover that their missions have something in common. Even though all five assassins are on the same train, each has come abroad for their specific reason but what gives this film its brilliant twist is that all of them are connected, whether they know it or not. Bullet Train first hit theatres worldwide on the 5th of August 2022, featuring an All-Star phenomenal cast by the names of Brad Pitt,…

Jujutsu Kaisen 0
After waiting for what felt like a year, I finally got the chance to watch the highly rated movie – Jujutsu Kaisen 0, by director Sunghoo Park. As the title of the movie explains, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 begins probably a year or so before the animation was released, so our favorite pink-haired protagonist, Itadori Yuji is nowhere to be found in this film. However, we are instead given a new protagonist in Yuta Okkotsu. A young boy who is cursed with the spirit of Rika Orimoto, who follows him everywhere and if provoked, will gladly annihilate anyone and anything that dares to harm Yuta. But since Yuta Okkotsu…

The Gray Man
The Gray Man film by the Russo Brothers Joe and Anthony is a phenomenal adaptation of the novel – The Gray Man by author Mark Greaney, first published in 2009. This triggers a global manhunt by assassins and agents alike, all set loose by his ex-colleagues to find him and terminate him if need be. Watcher
Director Chloe Okuno may have released her best work to date with her latest film, Watcher. The film’s focus is on a couple that’s moved into their new apartment in Romania, however, things aren’t all roses and flowers as Julia notices a stranger from across their apartment constantly staring into their room through the window. I don’t believe I have seen any film so simply made yet captivating and thrilling from start to finish. Chloe Okuno’s amazing attention to detail and script writing is what defines Watcher apart from her other crafts. Her way of building suspense and tension in this movie should be an example to all…

Dark: Season 3
Program Creators Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese’s third season of Dark is the perfect portrayal of a tragic story with no actual happy ending for the people of Winden. Season three of Dark has been a journey and a half with all the years we traveled back and forth from and all the revelations that connect the series to its first and second seasons. The first episode of season three is no doubt slow, so slow I passed out and had the best sleep in years lol… We pick up from right where we left off, with Jonas and the alternative Martha from a different world…
